I am the mother of two teenage girls, living in a small moshav in northern Israel. I have a master’s degree in agriculture. I run the family’s organic/biodynamic farm where 6,000 trees from 9 different varieties grow and a sustainable olive press. I am a member of the Israeli Olive Branch Committee and in the Organic Agriculture Organization in Israel. I was the head olive oil panel of the IOC in Israel. I am an oil quality consultant for companies in Israel and an organic agronomy consultant for small growers. I give courses and lectures on olive oil in the culinary and health field to the general public. I Judge in international olive oil competitions in Israel, Greece, and Italy.
